The Gospel

Hi friends,

I just wanted to invite you all to listen to a sermon called “Examine Yourself”. I know, sometimes sermons can be the least exciting thing to listen to, but I really think this one is a life or death matter. Many of us grew up in church, or feel like we believe in God, and that’s enough, but when you die, you don’t want to be in for a rude awakening. A simple “I believe in God; we have a special relationship” is not enough. In the Bible, the Word of God, Jesus says the following:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6 ESV

Seeing this, we should be grateful and humbled that a)the Father provided a way to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ and b)quick to confess and believe that Jesus Christ is indeed LORD.

You see, our lives are jacked up. We’re born in sin. Through Adam came sin. Because he and Eve ate of the fruit in the garden, when God instructed them not to, all men after that are in a fallen state – born in sin. Sinful man cannot come to God on his own terms. This is where Jesus Christ, the Messiah, comes in. Out of His great love for us, God provided a way to become righteous before God – through the blood of His Son.

The Bible tells us in Romans 3 that there are none righteous… none of us seek after God… none of us understand.

This world is getting ridiculously crazy and violent. NONE OF US know when our last moment is. We are not promised another year, nevertheless another SECOND on this Earth.

Place your faith in Christ Jesus before it’s too late.

That sermon was off the chain…

I listened to this sermon a few weeks ago and it definitely is a must-listen for all believers. There is also another sermon by Todd Friel of Way of the Master radio which is quite similar based on the book of 1 John. I would definitely recommend anything by Paul Washer, John MacArthur and Charles Stanley.

If you see any other sermons worth listening to, please post them because I live and work overseas in North Africa and don’t get to attend a regular worship service because there are none. So, downloadable content is a must for me.
